As far as Wonder Woman redesigns go, this one is really refreshing.

Fantastic texturing on the leather, and kudos' for not over using a shine effect on the metal; many artists (including myself) tend to really overuse that on her armor. The whole design has this fabulously amazonian quality to it, which gives WW herself an overtly powerful presence, which is great to see in a character traditionally associated with powerhouses like Superman and Batman. Not crazy about the loin-cloth-esque skirt (I would reccomend a full skirt in that fashion, like Xena), but it fits incredibley well with the rest of the costume. As for the star printed shorts, it's a cool concept, but I would reccomend something like modern bike shorts, because amazons would'nt pay much mind to underwear in battle, and it's probably something she would have added upon arriving in America. Gods, I LOVE her thigh and arm tattoos. The all gold armor is great, but the gauntlets feel to heavy. The gloves have a nice feel to them, but likely contribute to the overall heaviness of the costume. While on the topic of the armor, WW's breastplate is great, a little typical for Wonder Woman, but hey, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." The shoulder piece is a nice contribution to the costume, but again we get a sense of weight that throws off the costume as a whole. I particularily like the t-shirt sleeve of armor covering her deltoid. It's a really neat concept. The choker works for me, but only if it's connected to her shoulder pad, or her tiara. If it's just a seperate piece of jewelery for jwelery's sake, I'm not to crazy on it. The belt is a little light to tie in with the rest of the armor. Compared to the overall theme, it's way to jewelery-like, and frail. The tiara is nice and hefty, which gives her, as I said before, a nice and imposing presence. The heels are a little iffy, I would reccomend warrior boots with a light heel, just to keep the theme straight. Mixing amazon and high fashion are really difficult to mix right, and ninety percent of artists who attempt it don't get it. Love the use of the WW logo on the boots. Gives a nice tied together appeal to the costume, but also serve a practical purpose. Gotta love that.

Overall I'd give it a solid 7/10. Nice idea, great execution, wonderful character history, and it remains sexy, without over sexualizing WW as a character.

As for the art itself, your style has a wonderful texture to it, and a graphicness that would make you a brilliant fight scene artist. Coloring and shading is quite basic, but simplicity for simplicity's sake is never a bad thing. That said, it reminds me of gold and silver age comics coloring, and that's great.

Just a suggestion, watch that right ankle of hers. That's Rob Liefeld skinny...

This would be an epic wartime WW design.
